Shakespeare Study & Performance
skills: previous theatre experience of any kind!
suggested age: 10+
Date/Time: Thursdays at 11a.
We will study history of Shakespeare, learn how to read/understand
Shakespeare, students will be assigned scenes and/or monologues based
on their skill level. Students will be on their feet performing as
well as learning history!
Audition Skills (group lessons)
skills: previous theatre experience
suggested age: 13+
Date/Time: Mondays at 11a
Building audition skills of more experienced theatre students. They
will build their audition "book" - leaving the class with multiple
audition-ready monologues. We will work on audition skills like cold
reading, improv, and taking notes quickly. Students will leave feeling
much more prepared and comfortable auditioning.
Musical Theater & History Integration
skills: previous theatre experience
suggested age: 12+
Date/Time: Wednesdays at 11a
Each week we will study a different era in MT History - we will learn
what was happening in the world, what inspired the Musical of the
Week, and then we will learn some of the music/scenes from the Musical
of the Week! We'll sing our way through history!
Private Acting & Audition Coaching
Professional actor and director, Rachel Jackson, coaches actors from amateur to professional on audition skills for everything from school or community theater auditions to college or art school entrance to professional acting jobs.

This group is a great Q&A with Rachel for students interested in
theatre. You can ask questions about auditions, college, working as a
professional theatre artist, or anything else! We will talk about
